My metal prints come from Shiny Prints in Jupiter, Florida. They print on Chromaluxe aluminum by dye sublimation. This is my favorite printing media. Metal does something for the colors and light that you can’t get on paper.

Every photo on this site can be made as a metal print. They arrive ready to hang, with no frame or glass needed.

Sizes

Sizing is open. I like to match the print to where it’s going. Tell me about the space and I’ll tell you what the image can do at that scale.

I stick to the aspect ratio that best holds the image, so a photograph’s shape often steers the decision. That’s part of the conversation.

Everything else comes from Whitewall, who print and ship worldwide. Three choices there:

Fine art paper - archival, warm, and quiet. the best choice for framing, and for the black and white work.

Canvas - softer and less reflective, stretched and ready to hang.

Acrylic - face-mounted behind glass-clear acrylic, deep and glossy, closes in feel to the metal.

Email me the title of the photograph, the material you have in mind, and roughly were it’s going to hang. I’ll come back with options, pricing, and a timeline.
